Position Summary:

Retail Sales Clerk is responsible for providing a customer focused shopping experience in our retail store(s) by upholding the Josh Early Standard. This includes waiting on and engaging with customers, filling shop displays and packing chocolates and candies.

Requirements:

1. Ability to offer purchase suggestions, product information and Josh Early Candies history

2. Unload, receive and stock product and/or merchandise

3. Participate in daily cleaning

4. Must be able to work occasional weekends

5. Ability to work a full-time schedule with overtime hours and compensation around major holidays. Seasonal hours vary from 16-32 hrs/week during the summer to 40+ hrs./week prior to Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Easter

6. Ability to stand and move for an 8 hour day

7. Ability to lift up to 15lbs.

8. Previous customer service experience (preferred)

9. A commitment to job tenure and stability

10. Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment

Position Summary:

Seasonal Packer is responsible for assisting with our candy production line and packing chocolates and candy, upholding the Josh Early Standard of providing an industry leading quality product.

This is a seasonal position that starts in September/October and goes through April each year.

1. Ability to stand and move for an 8 hour day

2. Ability to lift up to 15lbs.

3. Participate in daily cleaning

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and oversee the enrobing line to coat chocolates and confections

• Coordinate production schedules, managing time and labor to ensure efficient output

• Melt and temper chocolate, cut caramels, rotate stock, and manufacture nonpareils

• Perform general equipment maintenance and ensure a clean, organized workspace

• Collaborate with your team to uphold the high quality standards we’re known for

Recommended Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food manufacturing environment

• Degree or certification from a Culinary Arts Program is a plus
